Validating the Meaning of the Other

A denunciation of ultra conservative values as espoused by republican conservative commentator David Brook's article which imposes judgment on relativism. The article argues for the beauty, courage and strength of the individual's right to define their own happiness. Doing so is viewed as a necessary step in taking a strengths-based approach to working with others- a civil libertarian value which must be protected in our society.
